Why hire Leslie as your newborn photographer?
I think I photograph newborns because I love babies SO DANG MUCH. I’d have a million babies if I could handle them - I am currently a Mama of 5.
I love working with new parents, and I have many return clients for newborn sessions. I get to watch families grow, and I love every moment of it. It’s so special when families choose me over and over.
My team handles everything, it’s such an easy experience! The studio is stacked with gowns, dresses, wraps, buckets, and little tiny pillows. The newborn headbands will make you melt! I try to think of everything, so you just show up and relax while I do all the work, you can even get your hair and makeup done by one of my staff artists. I tell you exactly what to do, handle all of the things, and deliver gorgeous photos. Does work get any better than that? I do not think so!
Relax during your newborn session. Mom usually hangs out with me during the session and we chat, while Dad might hang out on the couch. I play relaxing Christian music and we ooh and ahh over the adorable sets and poses. It’s the best.
When is the best time to book my newborn photo session?
It’s always best to get your due date on my calendar as soon as possible, most clients book their newborn session with me no later than 20 weeks pregnant. Plus, when you book your maternity and newborn session at the same time you get a FREE Fresh 48 session. Now, if you don’t get around to booking this early - or not even before baby is born- I might still be able to get you in- so reach out anyway.
Parents and Siblings ALWAYS welcome
Don’t skip the family poses, they are so precious!
Parent and family photos can be done at the beginning of your session or at the end. A lot of times when toddlers are involved we will plan to do them at the very beginning of the session so that they do not get restless waiting. After sibling photos are done dad will take everyone out for breakfast or to do something fun until I am done with baby’s portion. Of course, everyone is welcome to hang out in the studio the whole time too, totally up to you.
What products do my clients typically purchase?
Most clients purchase a combination of digital images and either an album or wall art. There is just something about seeing your photos in print - it really brings them to life! Digital collections start at $800, wall art begins at $350 and albums begin at $1150. Some clients just get digitals, and that’s okay too!

What do I need to do so that I can book with you?
Fill out my contact form, find it at the bottom of this page, or find it on my ‘contact’ page. It is only $149 to book your session date and all digital or product purchases are made on your session date.

I do! I have EVERYTHING needed for your newborn session. Of course, if you have something special that you want to bring - we will include it! Before your session, I send you a questionnaire where you are able to tell me what colors you want and other specific information that helps me plan and style your session.
